Genetic Disorders of the Skin
Our Genetic Disorders of the Skin Program specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of people with complex hereditary disorders that primarily affect the skin. Our patients are personally examined and diagnosed by a team of pediatric dermatologists and geneticists.
We care for patients with a variety of disorders, including:
- Albinism
- Ectodermal dysplasias
- Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (classic type)
- Ichthyoses
- Incontinentia pigmenti
- Tuberous sclerosis
- Premature aging syndromes
Diagnostic consultations are also available for children with a probable genetic disorder in which skin changes may be a clue to diagnosis.
